It is completely atrocious that the world would stand by and allow the 1994 genocide to take place. However, why are Sudan and Somalia almost completely excluded with media coverage?

So far away for far too long - I need you, I want you, but I just want someone there to watch over me everyday.
The arms industry has certainly reached $1 trillion dollars. Why does this money not fund clean technologies that are existant for developing countries? This would surely rid the problems and wars that result from poverty, instead of having a tyrant in rule. North Korea is being sanctioned - fertilizer and rice shipments are being stopped. If North Korea was self sufficient and developed country, its people would surely rise above KJ2's rule of tyranny. That being said, how does a country provide funding for a desolate land thousands of kilometers away when some of its own citizens are living a life of poverty? One only has to look at East Hastings for an example.

Life is full of choices - to help each other in times of need, to avoid the evils and depressions of life, to say yes when you're asked, to say no when you know, to forgive when you don't need to, to love even when love runs away. What choices will you make today?
