pakistan - catch 22 Mr. Bush? For freedom or democracy, for militant rule or Islamic extremism, for fact or fiction.

60 minutes (oct 26, 2007) - how does a "religion" preaching that god rewards you by making rich make any sense, especially when the church reaps in 70 million operating profit? history never teaches people.

1988 - brian mulroney claimed that global warming was a high priority and that the 90's would be a decade of change. and 20 years later, many floods, tsunamis, burning and melting ice caps afterwards, people are still preaching and not doing. where are the critically acclaimed activists of today who practise what they preach? blanketed in a jail of lindsay lohans, britney spears, and the war on terror.

judge not save not we can't keep going on
this race has finished except we haven't won
keep falling down
because there's no second chance
not for you not for me not for us not for the world not forever

bittersweet

global warming bandwagon. good cause; wrong basis. the real reason why we should be cutting back on natural resource use. Controversial but once one realizes the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is miniscule, what can be said? After all, 79% N2, 21% O2.

everything went from right to wrong
the music on the stereo
the rain on the ground
my heart of stone
running from right to wrong
where was the sign
that pointed to you and me
instead of me from you
it's all messed up
can't stop thinking of you.

don't give up

what's worse? the emptiness or the drugs?

protégé

if there's nothing left to live for
if dignity and honesty and faith and hope have flown away
if money can't buy happiness
but only powder and pills
why do they call it a disease when it is part of society itself
and society is humanism
where is therefore flawed
just get higher and higher
to get lower and lower
too numb too easy too hard to raise a hand to raise a voice
don't give up never give up don't even think about giving up

confessions of a dangerous mind

confessions of an economic hitman

John Perkins

i can see the sunset
i can see the sun
i don't need no war
i don't need no politics
i don't need a dangerous mind

humanity vs mother nature
humanity with mother nature

Saturday, January 20, 2007

in a world gone mad, only lunatics are truly insane.

sometimes similarities are differences. and sometimes differences become apparitions - ghosts of what we were before, empty thoughts of what we will become. how many gold bullets does it take to make a point? how many bullets does it take to take a life? how many bullets does it take to make peace? one greater than none, in a world gone mad, in a place where humanity no longer has much meaning.

sunday morning.

picture yourself as kim jung il.
frame a memory in your mind from the days that were just fleeting by, not from the velocity of the car, not from the momentum of the earth, but from the hazed visions of alcohol.
when did we become so far away?
when did we become so mis-used?
every morning that was not sunday morning.
